5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at csd@nepaltestprep.com.
Audio recordings submitted during speaking tests are retained for a maximum of 90 days for the purpose of scoring and feedback, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems.
Anonymised, aggregated data (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained indefinitely for research and analytics purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- •TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
- •Passwords hashed using secure, industry-standard algorithms — we never store plain-text passwords
- •Row-level security policies on our database to ensure users can only access their own data
- •Regular security reviews and access controls for staff with system access
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
