Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Nepal Test Prep website (www.nepaltestprep.com) and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Platform. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Nepal Test Prep provides an online English test preparation platform focused on IELTS Academic and PTE Academic examinations. Services include but are not limited to: full-length practice tests, AI-powered scoring and feedback, band score predictions, progress tracking, live tutoring bookings, daily challenges, and study resources.

We do not guarantee a specific exam score or result. Our services are intended as supplementary preparation tools and should not be relied upon as the sole method of preparation for any official examination.

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at csd@nepaltestprep.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use paid services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during registration proves to be inaccurate or if you violate any provision of these Terms.

Nepal Test Prep offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase.

All payments are processed securely. Prices displayed are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless otherwise stated. Nepal Test Prep reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time, with reasonable advance notice provided to existing subscribers.

Refund Policy: If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase by contacting csd@nepaltestprep.com. Refunds will not be granted after the 7-day period or if a significant portion of the subscribed content or tests has been accessed.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend paid access for users found to be in violation of these Terms without refund.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations of Nepal and any other jurisdiction from which you access the Platform.

You must not: (a) copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Platform without our written consent; (b) use automated bots, scrapers, or data extraction tools to access the Platform; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems; (d) upload or transmit any harmful, malicious, or offensive content; (e) impersonate any person or entity; or (f) use the Platform to engage in any commercial activity without prior written approval.

Test content including questions, passages, audio, and model answers is proprietary. Sharing, republishing, or distributing test content in any form — digital or otherwise — is strictly prohibited.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Nepal Test Prep or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws of Nepal.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include the right to download, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content.

IELTS is a registered trademark of British Council, IDP, and Cambridge Assessment English. PTE Academic is a registered trademark of Pearson. Nepal Test Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to these organisations.

Our Platform uses artificial intelligence to score practice test responses and provide feedback. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated scores and feedback are indicative only and may not perfectly replicate official IELTS or PTE scoring methodologies.

Nepal Test Prep makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of AI scores. Results should be treated as approximate guidance. Official exam scores can only be determined by the respective examination bodies.

Tutors on our Platform are independent service providers who have applied and been approved by Nepal Test Prep. While we review tutor credentials before approval, we do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any tutoring session.

Students engage with tutors at their own discretion. Any disputes between students and tutors must be reported to us at csd@nepaltestprep.com and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Tutors must not solicit students for off-platform transactions. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Nepal law, Nepal Test Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us during the three (3) months preceding the claim.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nepal Test Prep does not warrant that the practice tests or content on the Platform will improve your official exam scores. Past performance of other users does not guarantee your results.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2006) and the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.

Nepal Test Prep reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at csd@nepaltestprep.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
